Mining Exploration Projects
Geophysical surveys are a time-saving and cost-effective way to explore virgin or previously worked ground for placer mining.
Highly mobile resistivity equipment makes it possible for us to survey a 480m - 720m long section of valley per day depending on access and terrain variables. Clients have stated that a resistivity survey line is similar to having a drill hole every 5m along the survey line, showing factors of placer potential such as: bedrock depth, gravel lens thickness, and width of paleochannels. We have designed our gear with rough wilderness conditions in mind while maintaining a negligible environmental impact. The comprehensive information from a geophysical survey allows the client a first calculation to determine the directed economic use in further prospecting methods such as soil sampling, drilling, trenching, and shafting.
